Regenerative Design

All of Ecological’s projects, whether they are new developments or consulting services, are executed through a regenerative approach.

Ecological deals exclusively in Regenerative Development, meaning we do not merely sustain the environment but actually repair and improve natural systems over time.  We extend this regenerative approach to include all social, economic, and environmental systems surrounding each project.

Today, the optimal outcome for even the most stringent level of LEED certification is sustainability (i.e., development that does no damage to the environment and minimizes use of natural resources). We operate on the core belief that green development and building performance can and must go further. Regenerative goes beyond sustainability into the realm of creating more natural resources than we use.  This core concept can be best understood in context with other industry terminology.
